Ever wonder whats in those wood cleaners and polishes that have that synthetic lemony smell? I have created an all natural wood cleaner and polish that has no preservatives. You can feel good about what you are cleaning and polishing your wood furniture with. Some of the ingredients you probably have in your kitchen already.
What I love about this polish and cleaner is it is not watery or smells like vinegar like so many of the homemade versions can. I also love that it moisturizes your wood furniture to keep it looking great for years to come!
What you will need
¾ cup distilled water
1 T olive oil ( Fractionated Coconut Oil or
2 T vodka (or white vinegar)
2 T white vinegar
1 T liquid Vegetable Glycerine
Lemon , etc)
¼ teaspoon Xanthan Gum Powder
½ teaspoon Emulsifying Wax , melted
Place the water, olive oil, vodka, vinegar, glycerin, and essential oils in a blender and blend on high.
You can use a whisk , it just takes some extra effort. While the blender is still running, add in the xanthan gum and emulsifying wax. Process for 10-15 seconds until slightly thickened.
Pour into a spritz bottle and use once a week.
Lasts up to 3 months.
